Happy Halloween from all in 2nd and 3rd Class! Well done to all of the boys and girls for their hard work and excellent behaviour so far this school year. We had a Halloween Monster Raffle to reward the children and a great day was had by all.

Do you like our art inspired by Cubism?
Check out the gallery below of our clay art. It was our first time so we were trying out different things!
In our Art work, we created the colour wheel and learned that red, yellow & blue are the primary colours and how to mix to make new colours. We learned how to darken & lighten them too.
We made paintings using marbles instead of brushes.
We used different coloured card & markers to create our night time Halloween owl pics. We talk about the look we are going for and a basic design, then the children use that as their basis and are free to explore & create their own versions of it. Don't they look great!
