From Rosenallis to St Louis - Keep RNS Robotics dream alive

Good morning everyone, Rosenallis NS’ Robotics team were been crowned all Ireland champions last Thursday  (Feb 26th, 2026)
With that, they have qualified to travel to St Louis, Missouri for the last week in April to represent Laois and Irish Schools at the World Championships.
This is beyond our wildest expectations and the kids are incredibly excited!
As you all know, paying for this will be no mean feat and we have kicked off fundraising efforts to make sure that the Robotics team members' dream becomes a reality.
As the only Laois primary school to ever qualify for the worlds and hopefully the first of many, we are asking everyone to please get behind us. If you can donate and share our GoFundMe page and social media posts (links below) with your school communities, we would be so grateful!
I hope that our team will inspire some maths and science minded kids in your schools and that we will all have another Laois school to rally behind in the near future
I hope that the people of Ireland will rally behind this great underdog story, especially as we are a small rural school with just 74 pupils.
Laois have won the All Ireland and now we are going to represent Ireland and take a shot at the World Championship - why wouldn’t we!
